Raquel Garnett , who was originally interested in nursing, had an opportunity to work first hand in an emergency room as a registrar, allowing her to get her feet wet in the medical field. After nine years of working her way up the backend healthcare financial ladder, she is now a Revenue Cycle Manager. She has worked for some of New York City’s largest and most decorated healthcare systems. She is now transitioning from healthcare finances to the tech field, working on a Cloud Practitioner certification in hopes to find a new path; possibly merging her extensive knowledge in healthcare practice and financial management and technology.
